£250m race for Sanctuary housing upkeep framework

Social housing giant Sanctuary Housing is seeking to appoint firms to deliver a £250m programme of responsive repairs and planned maintenance over the next four years.

The spend of around £50m a year will be spread around appointed firms in several geographical lots on an estate that includes 105,000 homes, over 100 residential care homes and more than 10,000 student rooms.

Ahead of a formal invitation to tender for places on the new dynamic purchasing system panel, Sanctuary is holding a suppliers day on 3 September.

Formal bids under the DPS will be invited in early October with contract award expected in January 2025 with works to commence later in April.
