Tutor Perini wins $229m Fort Lauderdale airport contract

American contractor Tutor Perini has won a $229m package to carry out construction work at three terminals of Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport in southern Florida.

The scope of work includes the construction of enclosed walkways linking the terminals. The company will also work on security checkpoints, the bagging hall and retail areas.

Tutor Perini will begin work for the Broward County Board of County Commissioners in the second quarter of 2024, with substantial completion due in the third quarter of 2027.
