UK’s McLaren to build mall in Dubai

Shamal Holding has awarded a $21.8m contract to UK-headquartered McLaren Construction to build Nad Al Sheba Gardens Mall in Dubai.

The two-storey, 12,600-sq-m development is sited in an exclusive residential neighbourhood.

McLaren will be responsible for all site preparation, civil engineering and full superstructure works including MEP installations and fit-out.

Lyndon Hives, Preconstruction Director at McLaren Construction, said: “The quality of community spaces and architectural design, particularly its shopping centres and community malls, are part of what makes Dubai such an appealing international destination.”
