Taylor Wimpey chief honoured with CBE

Taylor Wimpey chief executive Jennifer Daly has been made CBE in the King’s Birthday Honours.

Daly who was honoured for for services to business and to the housing sector is the first woman to lead a FTSE 100 house building company in the UK, having taken the chief role in April 2022.

She has built a successful career in house building, starting out in the public sector in local authority planning roles before moving into the private sector.

Daly is an active member of the industry federation, a non-executive director on the New Homes Quality Board and has also previously served as a board member on a not-for-profit housing trust.
