Telehandler Operator needed in Abingdon
Daniel Owen Recruitment are looking for a Telehandler Operator to work on a busy residential site in Abingdon. With this being a new build site, there is a lot of work available for the right person.
The site itself has free parking and is easily accessible via public transport. There are also convenience stores nearby.
Previous experience operating a Telehandler is a must and appropriate tickets are needed (CPCS or NPORS).
Duties for the successful Telehandler Operator include:
– Operate a telehandler to move, locate, and reposition materials
– Adhere to safety protocols and standards while operating the equipment
– Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient work flow
– Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks or other vehicles
– Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements for the role
The successful Telehandler Operator will need either an NPORS or CPCS (red or blue) licence, full PPE (Hard hat, Hi-Vis and steel-toe cap boots) and proof with a reference having done a similar role previously.
