Position: Apprentice Lift Engineers

Location: Belfast

Salary: DOE

Our client is a leading company in the lift industry, they are looking for 2 Trainee Lift Engineers to join their Installation team in Belfast.

You will spend up to 24 months as a Lift Engineer Mate/trainee working with experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer.

The trainee scheme is likely to take up to 3 years to complete to become a fully qualified NVQ level 3 Engineer in installation.

Requirements:

Hold 5 GCSE’s grades A-C including Maths, English and Science
Ideally possess one of the following;

Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering

Able to follow instructions and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all time
Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills
Driving licence desirable but not essential
