AI-powered platform said to transform architectural and design workflows

Cove.Tools has launched Vitras.AI, a new platform for architects that uses AI to automate complex and time-consuming tasks, generate key reports and provide ‘data-driven insights’.

At launch, the Vitras.AI platform includes four key report modules for Zoning Studies, Cost Estimating, Energy Benchmarking, and Climate Analysis.

Vitras.AI also includes AI Chat, an ‘on-demand architecture assistant’ designed to deliver ‘trusted, instant answers’ across architecture, engineering, construction, building science, sustainability, using insights from thousands of articles.

“This is the first of its kind AI platform designed specifically for the unique demands of architects,” said Patrick Chopson, co-founder and chief product officer at cove.tool.

“We want architects to spend their time designing buildings, not pulling data and making them into reports.  Our platform enables users to go from an initial thought to a client-ready report in minutes.

“The AI-guided chat function allows architects to think through exactly what they need for their unique project, and the platform will find a workflow that best fits their detailed request.”

For Zoning Analysis, Vitras.AI can be applied to ‘any city’ to generate zoning reports in a matter of minutes, integrating data from Municode.

For Cost Estimating, the software can deliver early-stage cost estimates with detailed LOD 100 cost breakdowns, validated against industry benchmarks.

For Climate Analysis, architects can generate ‘detailed climate reports’ with insights on temperature, humidity, radiation, and wind to inform early-stage design decisions.

For Energy Benchmarking, architects can simplify energy analysis by comparing a project’s Energy Use Intensity (EUI) against standard codes and benchmarks.
