Manchester developer Progressive Living has gained planning for a 568 studio flats tower in Salford’s Greengate Regeneration Area.
Designed by Building Design Partnership, the 42-storey building will be Progressive Living’s biggest scheme to date.
The ground level of Enclave project on Gorton Street will provide active frontages to the public realm and to the riverside.
This application supersedes a previous submission made by Progressive to Salford City Council in 2021, for a mixed hotel and co-living scheme which also included the repurposing of the eight adjacent railway arches alongside a 36-storey tower.
Tender negotiations are understood to be underway with Domis Construction tipped to win the job.
