Veriforce CHAS has launched CHAS certification, a UKAS-accredited ISO certification body for the construction industry.
The certification will offer audit and certification services for construction and engineering services.
An ISO certification body tailored for construction
The services offered by the body will cover the following standards:
ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems
ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems
ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
Using their industry knowledge, Veriforce CHAS will work with construction and engineering companies to transfer their ISO certification.
UKAS is the UK’s only national accreditation body recognised by the British government. It assesses the competence of organisations providing certification, testing, inspection, and calibration services.
Veriforce CHAS provides risk prevention, compliance, and supply chain management services for clients and contractors. They work to standardise and simplify health and safety assessments for contractors, support organisations in efficiently managing their supply chains, and deliver full supply chain management tools.
Maintaining standards within the industry
The CHAS certification will streamline the process for CHAS members, bringing all their required ISO certification audits and health & safety assessments together.
ISO certifications are valid for three years, with mandatory annual surveillance audits and a recertification audit within three years of the previous certification date.
Both members and non-CHAS members will be able to transfer existing certifications to CHAS certifications.
