Subcontractors and suppliers to Hull-based offsite specialist ESS Modular have been left holding unpaid invoices worth £7m after the firm went into administration in September.
Debts at trading company Extraspace Solutions (UK) Limited (ESS) have been confirmed in an update at Companies House by administrator EY.
Extraspace Solutions UK Limited is owned by Cathexis UK Holding Ltd – which is also the owner of ISG.
EY said the company was in a separate corporate structure and the administration of ISG has not been the catalyst for its insolvency.
The update also shows £13.3m owed to Cathexis following the collapse and £2.8m in employee related claims by the 100 staff who were all made redundant.
Latest accounts for ESS for the year to December 31 2022 showed a turnover of £14m and a pre-tax loss of £14.6m.
