With Chironix Pty. Ltd. as its latest reseller partner, ANYbotics AG is bringing its robots to Australia and New Zealand. ANYbotics is combining its robots with Chironix’s expertise in robotic inspection, integration, and software intelligence. The partners said they will deliver systems to enhance safety and reliability in heavy industries.

“Chironix’s expertise in industrial automation makes them the ideal partner to expand our footprint in Australia,” stated Satschin Bansal, the global vice president of strategic alliances and partnerships at ANYbotics. “This collaboration accelerates autonomous inspection adoption, enhancing safety and efficiency.”

ANYbotics said its inspection systems can reduce worker exposure to hazardous environments, improve predictive maintenance by detecting equipment anomalies early, and optimize production by collecting data more accurately and frequently. Chironix said that by adding ANYbotics’ robots to its portfolio, it’s bringing inspection technology for heavy industries to the region.

Chironix to offer ANYmal for sale, RaaS

As part of this collaboration, Chironix will offer the ANYmal quadruped for direct purchase or via a robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) model. The company will deliver on-site support, training, technical expertise, and advisory services for robots and project management. This will enable industrial operators to automate inspections more effectively.

Spun out of ETH Zurich in 2016, ANYbotics said its mobile robots can automate real-time data collection in challenging environments, making them suitable for routine inspections, remote operations, or predictive maintenance. The company, which has offices in Zurich and San Francisco, said its systems and services can address labor shortages and keep workers out of harm’s way.

In December, ANYbotics raised $60 million to deploy its robots worldwide. The company said ANYmal and its software automates inspection for oil and gas, chemicals, mining, metals, minerals, and utilities.

ANYmal to address Australia’s demand for robotic inspection

ANYbotics said its partnership with Chironix underscores Australia‘s increasing demand for advanced robotic inspections. ANYmal, a rugged mobile robot, autonomously performs inspections, detects anomalies, and integrates seamlessly with asset management and digital twin platforms.

“Chironix is more than a robotics company—we are partners in end-to-end innovation,” said Daniel Milford, the founder and CEO of Chironix. “By joining forces with ANYbotics, we are expanding our portfolio of automated inspection solutions, empowering industries with intelligent, scalable robotic technologies.”

By using Chironix’s local expertise, industry networks, and proximity to key players, ANYbotics said it can better address the specific needs of industrial plants, improve customer support, and build a strong position in this vital market.

To showcase the power of autonomous robotic inspection, ANYbotics and Chironix will host a roadshow across the east coast of Australia between March and April, offering live demonstrations and industry engagement opportunities.

Founded in 2017, Chironix is a provider of robotics and AI systems specializing in advanced human-machine teaming solutions. With expertise in automation, AI-driven software, and robotic platforms, the Australia-based company develops technologies for defense, manufacturing, and enterprise applications.
