Staff hope rival firm could buy assets and save jobs
South East housing maintenance contractor Breyer Group has filed a notice of appointment of an administrator.
The move comes after weeks of mounting pressure from its subcontractors seeking to get paid.
Breyer had battled against a flurry of winding up petitions in recent weeks as concern spread about £80m main contractor’s survival.
Presently Breyer has around 250 staff operating across its three businesses: Breyer Roofing, Breyer Renew and Breyer Repair.
It is understood a rival contractor has been in talks about buying all or part of the business.
