Role: Building Services Lead
Salary: €65,000 – €70,000 + Company Car and bonus
Location: Donabate
We are seeking an experienced Leader to join our Building Services function in Ireland. As our next Building Services Lead, you will provide management and scheduling of the day to day activities of the function within the operations department.
With a background in construction/planning-related industry, you will be confident working alongside project and commercial teams. You’ll be a strong people manager, with the ability to inspire others to achieve results.
Please note, a valid Driving license is essential for this role.
Role Responsibilities:
In conjunction with the Head of Operations, develop a strategic plan which will enable the Ireland business unit to match or exceed the best performing business units in the Group
Ensure the Commercial teams are effectively trained in the techniques to maximise Building Services income
Provide direction to the Building Services General operatives, contractors & suppliers – to ensure BS equipment is available in line with commercial demand
Schedule the installation of the Building Services items to ensure that they are installed as per the building installation programme and budget and working inline with the project delivery teams
Develop deep relationships with key suppliers ensuring we are receiving the best commercial rates and support as possible
Carry out site inspections, supplier and contractor site visits to ensure Portakabin are carrying out works to the highest quality standard
As a Operations Supervisor you will have:
Experience in a related industry (eg. Construction/ Space planning/ M&E Fitouts/ Interior Fitouts/ Construction builds)
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently
Proven experience of planning and estimating projects
Team leadership experience
