Digital Construction North reveals more than 60 speakers

Digital Construction North will feature nearly 50 presentations from more than 60 speakers during the show on 13 November at Manchester Central.

The presentations take place across four themed stages: information management stage; innovation hub; transformation hub; and tech stage.

Speakers are drawn from across the built environment supply chain. Among those that caught BIMplus’s attention are:

Dr Anne Kemp OBE will begin the roll-out of the refreshed information management mandate;

RLB Digital’s Emma Hooper will reinforce “why the real intelligence lies within information”;

Jacobs and Balfour Beatty will reveal how they “operationalised information management on a national framework in an alliance contract model”;

a case study on the use of BIM on Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2;

AtkinsRéalis will present its Virtual Site Access platform, which won the Best Application of Technology at the Digital Construction Awards; and

Okana’s Dr Dean Douglas and Dr Melanie Robinson will tackle why clients struggle to grasp the opportunity that digital twins represent with the provocatively-titled session: Why digital twins don’t matter.

Digital Construction North is organised by the same team that delivers Digital Construction Week in London. Places are limited, so register to attend in advance.
