Glenbrook plans 44-storey Manchester resi tower

Developer Glenbrook has unveiled plans to bring forward a 44-storey residential scheme in Manchester city centre.

Located on a prominent site, adjacent to Deansgate Train Station at Whitworth Street West, the project would provide 364 flats.

At ground level commercial space would be contained within a three-storey arched terracotta colonnade.

Daniel Roberts, development director at Glenbrook, said: “As a Manchester-based developer, we are excited about the prospect of embarking on a landmark development in the heart of our city.

“Whitworth Street West is undergoing a period of revitalisation and Glenbrook are incredibly proud to be playing such an integral part in its future.”

The project has gone out to public consultation with a planning application expected to be submitted to Manchester City Council in the coming months.
