Joint developers Trebor and Hillwood have signed a deal with Glencar to construct a 335,000 sq ft distribution shed in the heart of Crewe’s established commercial area.
The 13-acre site for the Crewe 335 unit is situated on Weston Road and was formally known as the Old Tea Factory.
It will be built to an enhanced specification including several sustainable initiatives and will achieve BREEAM “Excellent” certification.
Greg Dalton, Development Director at Trebor, said: “We’re delighted to have reached the next key milestone on this development having recently completed the demolition works.
“Since acquiring the site last Autumn the team has worked hard to ensure we start the main build works as soon as possible, we’re very pleased to say we can now offer occupation from next April.”
