Residents of Jakande Housing Estate in Lagos have vowed to resist the state government’s plans to demolish their homes. The residents, who own houses in Phase I-IV of the estate, also known as Dolphin Estate, made their stance clear after officials from the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) marked their homes as “distressed” and threatened demolition.
