Susanna Zammataro has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers
Susanna is currently acting as the director general for the International Road Federation (IRF) and is set to start as the new FIDIC CEO on 1 May 2025.
FIDIC is a representative body for the global consulting engineering industry, including promotion of business interests.
The new FIDIC CEO has a lot of industry experience
Susanna has served as an industry leader for 25 years, with notable works including spearheading governance reforms, financial stabilisation, and members engagement initiatives as the director general of the IRF. She has also been instrumental in creating partnerships in government and international financial institutions such as the UN and EU.
With her at the helm, the IRF has expanded its global presence and launched several initiatives for road and transport infrastructure globally.
