YTL Construction UK to build 8-storey office block
YTL Developments has submitted plans for an eight-storey office building at its Brabazon regeneration scheme at the former Filton Airfield in North Bristol.
The planned 120,000 sq ft office will sit directly above the ticket office for a new Brabazon train station, which BAM has just started building.
Designed by AHR Architects, the offices will meet top sustainability and connectivity benchmarks, including EPC A, BREEAM Outstanding, NABERS 5*, and WiredScore Platinum.
Subject to planning approval, construction would be undertaken by the YTL Group’s in-house contracting firm – YTL Construction UK – and is expected to complete in early 2028.
The commercial element forms part of YTL’s wider Brabazon masterplan, which includes over 6,500 homes, 2,000 student beds and 3.7m sq ft of office space – expected to support up to 30,000 jobs.
