JOB DESCRIPTION
Plant Fitter required to join civils and groundworks company based in SW Wales. This role is field based and the successful candidate will be required to service, maintain and repair plant and machinery across all of our client’s projects so someone based in Taunton or across the South West would be suitable. You will need your own tools and transport. Mileage will be paid.
Previous experience as a plant fitter in the civil engineering industry is required with reference. Our clients fleet is made up of various makes and models of Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers and Telehandlers – primarily Doosan and JCB.
Key Skills & Qualifications
NVQ Level 2/3 in Civil Engineering & Plant Handling (or equivalent)
Strong practical mechanical systems background- heavy industry preferred
posseses a fault finding ability to identify defects and recommend appropriate action
knowledge of site related SHE regulations and ability to assess SHE risks
Own Tools
Own transport
Previous experience as a plant fitter with references
