Road to Salone del Mobile 2024

Embarking on a journey from Paris to Copenhagen, passing through iconic cities like London and Berlin, cities we know very well, having conducted many of our architecture firms educational  tours, the Road to Salone del Mobile 2024 extends its voyage to the United States, making stops in Miami (5 December), Dallas (23 January), New York (25 January), and Chicago (22 February).

The inaugural leg took place in Paris on 21 November, unveiling exclusive glimpses of the upcoming 62nd edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, scheduled for 16 to 21 April.

This global tour aims to introduce the design world to the evolving features of the trade fair, emphasizing visitor-centric approaches in layout and experiences. Noteworthy highlights include the resurgence of the biennial events EuroCucina and International Bathroom Exhibition.

Beyond the exhibition halls, the Road to Salone del Mobile 2024 provides a platform for the design community to collectively envision the future of living. Renowned guests, such as Patrick Jouin in Paris, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby in London, Konstantin Grcic in Berlin, and Luca Nichetto with Felicia Arvid in Copenhagen, explore a novel concept of inhabiting spaces that transcends material possessions, focusing on emotions and human connections.

Additionally, this journey marks the commencement of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of SaloneSatellite. Established by Marva Griffin for designers under 35, this initiative fosters connections between emerging professionals and companies.

The milestone will be honored with a significant exhibition at Triennale Milano from 16 to 28 April 2024, accompanied by a robust program of installations and discussions within the Fair’s pavilions, fostering an open dialogue between design culture and business.
