SEER Robotics debuted its SPT-1000 at ProMat this week. The company’s latest autonomous pallet truck features a compact structure, AI-powered adaptability, and seamless pallet compatibility.

Unlike traditional forklifts, the SPT-1000 features a patented forked pallet structure that allows it to handle closed pallets—common in the North American market—without modifications. SEER Robotics said this addresses a long-standing challenge in automated logistics by efficiently moving a variety of pallet types.

Additionally, the SPT-1000 features AI-powered recognition technology, enabling it to identify different pallet types, colors, and materials with high accuracy. The Shanghai-based company said this enhances pickup and drop-off reliability, reducing the risk of errors in high-throughput environments.

“The excitement around SPT-1000 at Promat has been incredible! Its AI-powered pallet recognition and adaptability make it a game-changer for warehouses and logistics hubs,” said Miya Gong, Global Marketing Director at SEER Robotics.

Founded in 2015, SEER Robotics is a mobile robotic company focusing on helping intralogistics integrators and robot builders to build their own mobile robot systems. The company develops and offers an all-in-one modular autonomy solution with localization, navigation, and motion control, robotic AI all packaged into one controller.

The controller features a list of pre-integrated key components and universal software. Additionally, SEER offers a wide range of off-the-shelf robots to help integrators to jumpstart the fleet building, ranging from lifting robots, mobile rollers, mobile manipulators, bin picking robots as well as pallet trucks, and forklifts.

SEER built the SPT-1000 for tight spaces

With a body width of only 47.2 inches (1.2m), the SPT-1000 is designed to operate in narrow aisles as tight as 51.2 inches (1.3m). This makes it ideal for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing environments where space optimization is critical.

The model’s load capacity of 2,200 lbs (1,000 kg)—with customization options up to 3,300 lbs (1,500 kg)—positions it as a high-performance alternative to conventional pallet-moving equipment.

Additionally, the SPT-1000 supports multiple navigation methods, including 2D/3D SLAM, reflector-based positioning, and natural feature localization (NFL). This versatility in navigation enables businesses to integrate the system into existing warehouse infrastructure without significant modifications.

Earlier this month, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, announced it’s leveraging SEER Robotics’ technology to transform its logistics and production processes.

Since 2021, Schneider Electric has been gradually introducing SEER Robotics’ smart logistics solutions into its core factories in Shanghai, Wuxi, and beyond. These solutions are designed to optimize production workflows, drive efficiency, and reduce operational costs, ensuring that the company maintains its competitive edge.
