Severn Trent aims to improve its delivery of capital projects by using the Sensat visualisation platform.
Severn Trent staff can upload design files, flood risk data, current underground utilities, and site constraints to the Sensat platform, which then presents that information in the real-world context of a visualisation of the site.
“Ultimately, this helps teams to facilitate right-first-time decision-making, minimise disruption, and ensure on-time project delivery,” according to Sensat.
Severn Trent is already using the platform on a strategic project in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, where the utility provider aims to reduce flooding and enhance environmental quality.
