Skanska tops April contract wins ranking

Two big building wins in London saw Skanska jump to the top of the contracts league in April.

The brace of projects includes a major £250m job for a 20-storey mixed-use tower which will replace Hill House, a 1970s concrete building on a site just North of Fleet Street.

The firm was also confirmed on a £158m data centre fit-out, along with associated construction work, from global data centre provider Telehouse in London Docklands.

Ardmore ranked second after developer Reef Group picked the builder to deliver the £240 final phase of its Tribeca purpose-built life science campus in London’s King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter and the £100m redevelopment of a grade II listed office at 1-5 London Wall in the City.
