Southern Water has picked a seven-strong consultant team to steer its £7.8bn investment programme for the AMP8 (2025-30) period.
The professional services framework is one of three critical frameworks to be used for the programnme, with capital delivery and network services still to be decided.
The framework, which runs for an initial five years with the option to extend by another three years, is broken down into three lots:
Asset Management support services (£80m)
Mott MacDonald; Aecom; Arup
Programme and Project Management support services (£64m)
KPMG; Aecom; Turner & Townsend
Technical and Engineering support services (£96m)
Mott MacDonald; Stantec; WSP/Binnies
Southern Water’s Head of Procurement, Stephen Coleman, said: “From identifying and designing new nature-based solutions to improve water quality and reduce storm overflows to spearheading best practices in hydraulic modelling, water recycling and digital innovation, projects within this framework will help future-proof our network and enhance our communities across the region.”
