Sunbelt Rentals AR app visualises plant on site

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland customers can now visualise and virtually place equipment in their work environments with an augmented reality (AR) app.

Using the Sunbelt Rentals AR app on a mobile device, customers can place realistic 3D models of equipment in their intended locations, map out the safety zones and view diagrams, ensuring optimal placement and incorporation into their projects before construction starts.

Users have the option to download product specifications and contact technical experts to gain further information about the best product for their site.

By visualising equipment placement and logistics during the pre-construction phase, customers can identify opportunities to minimise equipment usage, implement more sustainable equipment options with technical information provided through the app and reduce waste and transport costs, Sunbelt claimed.

The Sunbelt Rentals AR app can be downloaded from the Sunbelt website or via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
