Wynne triples turnover in three years to over £90m

Five-year growth strategy pays off

North Wales-based contractor Wynne Construction has trebled its turnover in just three years.

The Bodelwyddan-based contractor saw revenue rocket to £91m for the year to July 2024, up from £33m in 2022.

The growth spurt has earned the regional contractor recognition as one of fastest-growing firms in Wales.

Wynne said it continued to have a strong work pipeline with the year-end order book at £72m and places on major public frameworks including Pagabo, SEWSCAP3 and NWCP, and continues to target sectors like education, health, housing and leisure.

Managing director Chris Wynne said: “We are well-positioned for further sustainable, disciplined progress, which has always been our long-term vision for the business, our employees, and the supply chain.

“We will not rest on our laurels, especially given the landscape of many sectors within the country, not least the construction industry and the rising costs of material and increased demand for modern methodology.”
